Expanded Terms of Service for Valla DNS

Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between You and Valla Hub, operator of Valla DNS (collectively "We," "Us," or "Our"). By accessing, browsing, or using the Service, You affirmatively accept these Terms in full, without qualification. If You disagree, cease use immediately. These Terms are crafted to provide maximal protections to Us as site owners, incorporating extensive limitations on liability, user obligations, and enforcement mechanisms in an objective, straightforward framework.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Valla DNS provides free, anonymous, read-only DNS, email, network, SSL and domain/IP lookup tools. There are no user accounts, subscriptions, or payments. Features may evolve without notice, and availability is not guaranteed. We disclaim any representations regarding accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data.

3. Permitted Use and Restrictions

You may use the Service solely for legitimate purposes, such as DNS monitoring and email security configurations. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Automated scraping, crawling, or data mining without explicit written consent.
  • Overloading servers through excessive queries, DDoS attempts, or abusive traffic patterns.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code.
  • Transmitting malware, spam, or infringing content.
  • Using the Service for illegal activities, including violations of export controls or sanctions.

Violations trigger immediate throttling, suspension, or blocking at Our sole discretion, without notice. Because the Service is anonymous, enforcement is applied at the network/request level (for example, rate-limiting or blocking an address).

4. No Accounts; Your Responsibilities

The Service requires no registration, login, or account, you use the tools anonymously. You are responsible for using the Service lawfully and for the accuracy of the domains, hosts, or IP addresses you submit. You should only look up domains and addresses you are authorized to investigate.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All Service elements, including software, algorithms, interfaces, and content, are Our exclusive property or licensed to Us. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license for personal use only. No implied rights are granted. Infringement claims by You are barred; instead, You indemnify Us against third-party IP disputes arising from Your use.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Texas law, USA, excluding conflicts principles. Disputes shall be resolved via binding arbitration in Houston, Texas, under AAA rules, with You waiving jury trials and class actions. Prevailing party recovers costs.

11. Miscellaneous Provisions

  • Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others.
  • Waiver: No waiver implies future concessions.
  • Force Majeure: We are excused for delays due to uncontrollable events.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms supersede all prior understandings.
